You have arrived at Sticks & Stones Photography, a little site I put together to showcase some of my favorite photos.

Since the mid-70’s, I’ve dabbled in photography. In September 2003, I [hesitantly] dipped my toes into the cool waters of digital photography. The realization of what could be accomplished in this new medium quickly became apparent. Armed with an “amateur” point-and-shoot digital camera, I ventured forth with a passion I hadn't felt since my early years of photography.

After enjoying—and enduring the limitations of—two point-and-shoot cameras, I plunged in head first with the purchase of a digital SLR in December 2004...Pentax, of course [I demand the best]. The future looks bright indeed. 8~)

The following pages encompass a small sampling of photos taken mostly with a digital camera, though some are scans of film-based “fotografs.”
